As Director of Supply Chain Management for the City of Edmonton, Carrie oversees inventory, warehousing, logistics, purchasing and category management, supporting essential municipal and emergency services. Previously with the Government of Alberta, she served as Director of Project Excellence and Director of Business Performance, where she directed large-scale operational transformations, supported a $1.5B capital infrastructure portfolio, and oversaw the province's 20-Year Strategic Capital Plan. Carrie's background also includes senior leadership roles at Finning, as Director of Procurement & Vendor Management and in Operational Excellence. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. In her personal time, she loves traveling and cheering on soccer and hockey with her family.

Brett Latchford Brett is Director of Economic Strategy at the City of Edmonton, where he leads major cross-corporate initiatives shaping the city's economic growth and city-building work. Previously at the City, he worked as a project manager on logistics during the pandemic and led business process and performance management initiatives. Before this, he held leadership roles at the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC), focusing on enterprise strategic planning, business planning, and risk management. He holds a PMP designation and is a Canadian Risk Manager (CRM). Outside of work, Brett is a proud father of two girls and still enjoys video games.

Over the last 25 years, Jason has built his career with the City of Edmonton by successfully leading planning, design and construction projects in many diverse and progressive capacities. He has experience with complex, multi-faceted bridge, road, LRT, open space and facility projects across multiple departments. He has demonstrated success in leading areas through change as well as building and establishing relationships with stakeholders and partners.

Jason is currently Branch Manager, Infrastructure Delivery which includes construction of Buildings, Roads (excluding Neighbourhood Local/Collector Roads), and Bridges. The portfolio also includes oversight of the City’s internal Technical Services and Quality Assurance programs. Prior to joining the City, he worked for Ledcor, ISL Engineering and the Government of Alberta. Jason is a proud Edmontonian and holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.

Amy Hill is a Senior Competition Law Officer in the Competition Bureau’s Compliance and Outreach Unit. Amy contributes to the promotion of compliance by businesses of all sizes with the Competition Act and other labelling statutes. Since joining the Bureau, she has contributed to a high-profile investigation and worked on reducing regulatory barriers to competition with the Bureau’s Advocacy Unit. A published author who has testified before Parliamentary Committee, Amy holds a law degree and Master of Public Administration from Dalhousie University, and a Bachelor of Economics with Distinction from the University of Victoria.
