Applicable to all students enrolled in year 2025 courses for the Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) program, Supply Management Training (SMT) program and Diploma Program.

In 2018, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has updated the requirements for the issuance and submission of the T2202 Tuition and Enrolment Certificate (formerly T2202A) for tax year 2019 and onwards. If you have previously submitted your information using this form then you do not need to resubmit again.

Key updates include:

1. The issuers, Designated Educational Institutes (DEI), must switch from Form T2202A to Form T2202
2. The student’s Social Insurance Number (SIN) is required to be included on Form T2202

Supply Chain Canada is required by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to collect the Social Insurance Number (SIN) from its students as part of the T2202 Tuition and Enrolment Certificates submission for tax filing. While the Supply Chain Canada will make every effort to safeguard this information, there is always an element of risk when handling sensitive data. This information is collected for the sole purpose of fulfilling CRA's requirements and will not be used for any other purpose.

 

Note: You cannot claim the tuition amount on your tax certificate if any of the following applies to you:

  • the fees were paid or reimbursed by your employer, or an employer of one of your parents, where the amount is not included in your or your parent's income
  • the fees were paid by a federal, provincial, or territorial job training program, where the amount is not included in your income
  • the fees were paid (or eligible to be paid) under a federal program to help athletes, where the payment or reimbursement has not been included in your income
